Let us give a sigh of remorse....There is only one more day left of sweet freedom. On January 2, I reluctantly return to school. Christmas(or excuse me "Holiday") Break was lovely, but I can feel school slowly creeping in...AHHHHHHH!
Shan Shan slept over here the other day...It was pretty amazing if I do say so myself. We stayed up until 5am making this hilarious video, tantalizing "emo" culture. Of course, its stars are none other than the Scandalous Shan Shan and the ever so Melodic Marisa(thats me). Once we upload it onto youtube, I'll post a link. Ohh, make sure you visit the Hope Is Emo website. They have recently posted yet another amazing episode. This latest addition to the series is called"The System"...Make sure you watch it!

Well I was gonna post this funny picture of my sister and I with this column but we havent gotten the chance to take it soo I'll put it up later.
Ok, this is advice for all of you people that go out of your way to be disliked and hate popular kids because of their conformist ways. I'll tell you right now...I used to be like that the chains, the mohawk, the spiked collar, the eyeliner....It doesnt work. I am still the same person I was then I just don't dress like an idiot. Those clothes mean nothing... they don't make you unique or they don't make people think you are a bad ass... You just are labeled as an ass hole. I still have the same values, listen to the same music, get good grades, go to MCR concerts, rock harder than anyone, and shop at Aero. There is nothing wrong with that. Now, instead of going out of your way to make people afraid of you hang on to your values and be a normal. People hated me last year. This I changed my wardrobe and went out for student council VP.... People like me a lot better. You just need to show people that you are better than some dumb emo kid. By all means hold on to your morals.. Non- Conformity rules. But people shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable whenever they are near you. And not all quote un-quote preps are asses. Don't assume they are get to know them. It makes a lot less drama I promise.

well I must say that Friday was one of the best nights of my life. It was the night of the first ever Lewiston Porter Middle School Formal Dance. Organized by moi and of course my other lovely associates Robert, Derek,and Haleigh. And we pulled it off very well. The dance was the best dance that I have ever been to and I have been to every dance in the past 3 years.Everyone looked so spiffy I was delighted...I mean even my little sister as in a dress! Isn't the pic cute it's me and Derek at the dance!

Today's Lesson is on hmmmmmm. Lemmi think...Popularity. Popularity sucks whether you are popular, were popular, want to be popular, or hate popularity and everything about it. This Lesson is gong to have a section for each one of those categories. Today is for those of you that are popular and hate it. If you are a popular kid in a school, sport whatever and you find that your life is dumb and meaningless and that you hang out with a bunch of conceited, airheaded losers, I advise that you try to MAKE A DIFFERENCE! If you are popular then you obviously have the power to make change. Use this to your advantage. Help out the world a little bit. If you see something going on at school that shouldn't be fix it!! A popular student seems to be the only person who can make these changes.
Even if you are popular and you love it, still, use the power given to you to make your school or community a better place. If you are a head cheerleader, prom queen, or team quaterback, its very likely that people will do anything you do. Go do community service, if you do so will most people at school. If you see a kid being bullied, stand up for him/her... People will do the the same. So think about it just you some jock who thinks you have no purpose in life but football and being prom queen could really make a difference. Why not?
